These primary switched laboratory power supplies have been designed specially for laboratory and system applications. The unit provide highly stable output voltage and current, and offers extensive facilities for various operation modes.

Laboratory Power Supplies model PS 9080

The units are designed for easy use. All preset values of the voltage, current and over voltage protection (OVP) can be read on the LCD-displays.

The units can also be used as fixed voltage power supply by using the switch “Value fix”. This switch deactivates the 10-turn potentiometers for current and voltage and in this case the values can only be set via trimmer in the front by means of a screwdriver

Laboratory Power Supplies mdel PSI 8000 3U

The new series PSI 8000 3U extends the previous series PSI 8000 2U by 15 new models with power ratings of 5kW up to 15kW in 19" rack housings and 3U height, also configurable into cabinet systems of up to 150kW and up to 42U upon customer requirements. Output voltages between 80V and 1500V, output currents between 30A and 5100A and output powers between 5kW and 150kW are available.

The output terminal is located in the rear panel. All models are equipped with a flexible auto-ranging output stage to provide a higher output voltage by reduced output current or a higher output current by reduced output voltage, always regulated by the maximum output power. So, a wide application spectrum can already be covered by one unit. Set values and actual values of output voltage, output current and output power are clearly represented on the graphic display.

The operating state of the device, the menu guidance and the varying assignment of the pushbuttons are also shown on the display. So the user is able to operate the unit intuitively. The adjustment of output voltage, output current and output power, or the optional internal resistance, is realised by two rotary encoders. The rotary encoders are required for settings parameters in the different menus as well. To prevent unintentional operations, all operation controls can be locked.
